Ashley Herrera is the founder of Raptors Reaching Out. She is a senior at Silver Creek High School and a member of Silver Creek's Leadership Academy. Her interests include learning, being outdoors and helping others. Ashley plans on going to a college in Colorado next year to pursue her interest in Occupational Therapy. She is very excited about this project and can't wait to educate SC students on homelessness and special needs, and inform them on how they can make a difference in their community.
Raptors Reaching Out is a community service club for Silver Creek High School students. This club focuses on volunteering for homeless and special needs organizations. Raptors Reaching Out is solely based on volunteering for homeless and special needs communities, because both the homeless and special needs populations are often overlooked. We are here to bring help to those who need it, but our main goal is to educate the community about homelessness and special needs.
